Liberate to Innovate like an Entrepreneur
In today’s world, many organizations are creating innovations teams to try and keep pace with their rapidly changing environments. It sounds fun and exciting but what does it really mean? In this full-day workshop, we will discuss the similarities and differences between innovation projects and traditional projects. We will leverage liberating structures to explore entrepreneurial thinking applicable to corporate innovations. We will discuss the reasons corporate innovation teams stumble and fail more often than venture capital start-ups and identify structures that can be put in place to minimize this risk. The audience will walk away understanding the connection of innovation projects to strategic objectives. They will learn how to think like an entrepreneur and apply it to strategic thinking and apply agile methods to manage the complexity, uncertainty, and risk associated with innovation projects. They will have new tools for applying entrepreneurial skills to the next innovation project.
